Client Challenge
A Nordic consumer electronics retailer needed a new line of GaN Type-C fast chargers with requirements of compact size (20% smaller than traditional models), high power output (65W-140W), low operating temperature (below 70℃), and competitive pricing to capture the premium portable charger market.
Our Solution
We adopted advanced gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor technology to enhance energy efficiency and reduce heat generation. Through DFM analysis, we optimized the internal structure layout to achieve miniaturization. We used high-precision injection molding for the shell and implemented a strict three-stage quality control process, including high-temperature endurance testing and voltage stability testing.

Project Outcome
Successfully launched 3 models of fast chargers (65W/100W/140W) that met all requirements. The product size was reduced by 22% compared to traditional silicon-based chargers, with operating temperature controlled at 62-68℃. We achieved a monthly mass production capacity of 500,00 units and delivered 200 thousand units within 4 months. The client’s market share in the Nordic fast charger segment increased by 18% within 6 months of launch.
