Client Challenge
A German precision tool manufacturer needed a cordless electric screwdriver with adjustable torque (0.5-5N·m), compact body design, and long battery life (≥8 hours of continuous use). The key challenge was ensuring the precision of the torque control system and the durability of the gear assembly.
Our Solution
We adopted a high-precision planetary gear system and customized torque sensor to achieve accurate torque adjustment. We used CNC machining for key metal components to ensure dimensional accuracy (tolerance ±0.01mm) and implemented strict wear resistance testing for gears. We also optimized the battery management system to extend battery life.

Project Outcome
The electric screwdriver achieved torque accuracy of ±0.05N·m, with continuous use time reaching 8.5 hours. The product passed the related standard certification, with a defect rate of less than 0.1%. We established a long-term cooperation, delivering 150,00 units annually, and supported the client in launching 2 upgraded models subsequently.
