A UK audio brand needed a portable Bluetooth speaker with Hi-Fi sound quality, IPX7 waterproof rating, and a minimalist design that fits home and outdoor scenarios. The key requirements included precise acoustic cavity design and durable waterproof assembly.
Our Solution
We collaborated with the client’s acoustic engineers to optimize the cavity structure using acoustic simulation software, ensuring balanced frequency response. The shell was made of impact-resistant ABS material with seamless injection molding and waterproof glue sealing to achieve IPX7 rating. We implemented strict sound quality testing (frequency response 20Hz-20kHz) and waterproof immersion testing for each unit.
Project Outcome
The Bluetooth speaker achieved Hi-Fi sound quality with clear treble and deep bass. It passed the IPX7 waterproof test (30 minutes immersion at 1m depth). We delivered 80,000 units in the first batch, with a defect rate of 0.08%. The product was well-received in the UK market.
